One of our most popular Tru-Gard™ Certified Barrier configurations is the 910mm post height with barrier rails placed at both top and bottom of the supports. It also includes Tru-Gard™ Hand Rail along the top of the barrier system. This was the arrangement of choice at this large new-build warehouse in Auckland, where our client wanted to provide maximum protection around the pedestrian walkways which traverse the full perimeter of the building. Note also the Tru-Gard™ Personnel Gates that are strategically placed near high traffic areas, such as the entrance/exit to the office area. The hazard identified was that staff members on foot may gain speed descending the staircase and accidentally rush out into the forklift zone. The placement of barrier, and the obligation to open the gate before proceeding onto the floor, greatly reduces the risk of anyone being hit by warehouse traffic.
Tru-Gard™ Bollards have also been utilised in specific areas to protect electronic operating devices. Nobody wants unnecessary downtime caused by accidental damage to the automation equipment. Our bollards are certified for impact resistance and provide fantastic protection in areas that require extra safeguarding.
