Lindsay Transport is one of Australia’s largest transport companies, delivering more than 1.6 million tonnes of freight to over 5,000 customers along Australia’s east coast each year. A well respected company that makes Health & Safety a top priority at each of its many freight warehouses – more than 37 stores and depots altogether.
This particular freight store in Victoria employs and hosts a vast number of pedestrian workers on a daily basis, both inside the large store and around the loading and unloading bays, where a continual turnover of trucks keeps the premises busy all day.
The scope for the Tru-Gard project was to clearly mark out safe walkways for all staff members and visitors making their way around the complex. Our local supplier and installer in Victoria put in large runs of 910mmH Tru-Gard Barrier with two rails plus handrail attached, as well as multiple personnel gates to restrict foot traffic emerging into high risk driveways and forklift zones. The installation has greatly improved the safety of everyone on site and looks fantastic too. Well done Lindsay Transport, thanks for taking care of people!
