Following a lengthy planning period, we were very excited to complete this Tru-Gard™ Anti Climb Carpark Barrier project. We worked with Naylor Love Canterbury to supply our certified safety barrier for Te Whatu Ora Canterbury District Health Board. Their newly built 8-storey carpark building located on Hagley Avenue, Christchurch, was custom designed in collaboration with Ngai Tahu for the health board staff. After successfully winning the tender process more than two years before the first sod was even turned on site, patience was necessary while we eagerly awaited our stage of the process, which was manufacturing the safety measures for installation in the completed building. Tru-Gard™ Anti-Climb panels were chosen to mitigate the height-related dangers associated with this kind of multi-level building. The flat, no-grip panel surface provides an extra-safe front face that cannot be scaled by children or daredevils!
This was one of the first major projects for our new Tru-Gard™ Anti-Climb design and what a successful outcome! We consider this a must-have product for open-air carpark buildings and anywhere heights pose a danger.
